Business development intern
Unpaid internship · Remote, US · 5 to 10 hours a week · Starts now
CraneFile is a very early startup: one person, a product in early access, and a list of crane companies to call. This is a chance to see how a real company finds its first ten customers, from the inside.
What you'd do
- Call crane rental companies and ask how they keep their paperwork today
- Sit in on discovery calls and write up what owners actually say
- Keep the lead list honest: who we called, what they said, what's next
- Help research state crane rules for the guides on this site
What you get
- A front-row seat to every decision in a company's first months: pricing, positioning, what to build
- Weekly one-on-one time with the founder
- A real reference and specific work you can point to
- Academic credit paperwork signed, if your school offers it
Who it suits
Students, recent grads or career changers who are comfortable picking up the phone, curious about how businesses actually start, and not scared of people who run heavy equipment. No experience required. Construction or trades background is a plus.
This is an unpaid, educational internship. It's flexible around school and work, and you can stop at any time.
